Addiction Treatment:
In 2004, she was a founding partner in Bendell Inc.  Addiction Treatment facilities . Inpatient and Outpatient Services opening agencies in Morristown, Sevierville & Newport Tennessee.  As a therapist, she provided court ordered addition treatment for DUI offenders within the incarcerated population. She provided individual counseling, addiction group therapy for drug and DUI offenders and development of over 1500 drug & alcohol assessments  for East Tennessee court systems,  department of children services and  region attorneys.

In 2007, She founded F.A.C.E.S (Functional Assessments, Comprehensive Evaluation Services) in Morristown Tennessee. developing mental health evaluations and addictions assessments for individuals referred from Hamblen county court systems, attorneys, department of children services and DUI court.

Assessment Instruments utilized includes: SASSI-4,  Cage, MAST, Adult Descriptors I&II, MMPI , SOAPP-R, SOAPP Version 1.0 SF Opioid testing , Addiction Severity Index (ASI), DAST, AUDIT, TAPS, Burns Scale, FAST, Brief Psychiatric questionnaire and mood disorder questionnaire 

Opioid Addiction Treatment                                                                                                                                                                    In 2010, Knoxville Tennessee, she worked with various psychiatrists at Integrity Behavioral Medicine LLC  and Healthy Living Medical Services providing therapy and completing professional intakes for new patients in addiction treatment. She collaborates with Behavior Focus LLC in developing alcohol & drug assessments, including intake and evaluation for court referrals and provides therapy services for patients with addictions.  She continued work developing mental health evaluations and alcohol & drug assessments for individuals through court,  attorneys and department of children services referrals. The work results have been positive for patients  attempting to live happy, productive lives.

Therapy:                                                                                                                                                                                                               She is a therapist and is a Trauma Focused-CBT specialist assisting individuals in low self esteem, low confidence, relationship difficulties, addictions, stress, anxiety and depression. The goal for patients is to identify negative thought patterns and become focused on positive solutions to enhance their quality of life. Her approach involves Cognitive Behavior Interventions, Solution Focused & Positive & REBT Interventions. 

Certifications:
   Deneen is a  Certified State Behavior Specialist, Certified Trauma Focused CBT Specialist and SASSI-4 Certified.  She has worked across East Tennessee in various cities including Morristown, Knoxville, Greenville, Johnson Cty, Rogersville and Jefferson City in conjunction with Cognitive Behavior Analysts to treat moderate to severe behavioral challenges.  She acted as a certified Behavior Specialist, Crisis Intervention Specialist in conjunction with staff, psychiatrists, behavior analysts, medical professionals in a wrap around service program for these patients.  She has also worked in conjunction with various psychiatrists in treatment of dual diagnosed conditions including therapy and addiction treatment.

   Deneen has worked for 19 years  in conjunction with licensed mental health and addictions Inpatient & outpatient treatment facilities and licensed professionals to include MD-Psychiatrist-Addictions Specialist, Clinical Psychologists, EdD-Behavior Analysts,  LMSW-Addictions Specialist,  LPC and a LCSW.

Internal Monitoring and Quality Improvement:
    Deneen has worked since 2000 as a "Agency Internal Monitor" and Regulatory Compliance Systems Specialist. Well educated in Business Development, Marketing & Internal Quality Improvement programs, she works within agencies and with auditors to comply with State, DEA and Federal compliance to policies and procedures.  This involves establishing an internal Quality Improvement program. Past audits achieved 95% and above scoring. She works with companies locally and internationally in establishing systems, as well as, developing facilities from the ground up. She has established 7 offices in her career from office design, marketing, team selection & development to ensure meeting all State, DEA and Federal regulations.

Professor:
 Deneen has worked as as Professor of Psychology for Breyers State University teaching  Bachelors and Master's level psychology courses to graduating students.

Personal :
 Deneen sails and travels globally to expand her knowledge in various cultures and traditions of other world countries in order to enhance her work in serving others.

Veterans Supportive Services:
Since 2017, Deneen has been active globally supporting Veterans organizations who treat Veterans with PTSD and other issues.  She established "Heroes Among Us" in 2017 and expanded her supports to France working with Government Officials to expand services for United States Veterans and French Veterans.
